Hi, I’m Zach Miller.
My dad spent his life working with his hands. He started as a framer and eventually became a contractor. But like most small business owners, the job didn’t stop at the work itself.
He was the contractor.
The secretary.
The scheduler.
The guy answering the phone.
Except when he couldn’t.
Because when you’re on a roof, under a house, or driving between jobs, you can’t always stop to answer.
And when that call gets missed, something happens you rarely see.
The customer calls someone else.
Not because you weren’t the best choice. Just because you were busy doing the work.
I grew up watching that happen.
And I watched my dad talk about something that stuck with me: feeling like he had to work three jobs inside one job — the craftsman, the operator, and the business owner — and feeling like he was falling behind at all of them.
Years later I found myself in a completely different world.
I built my career in high-volume sales, lead generation, and follow-up systems inside Fortune 500–level sales environments. I’ve helped build pipelines, design lead systems, and close hundreds of transactions.
Over time, leads started to feel like a language to me.
Response timing.
Follow-up cadence.
Pipeline structure.
Conversion psychology.
Small changes in how a business responds to opportunity can completely change the outcome.
In my world, the solution to the problem my dad faced was obvious.
A business should be able to respond instantly — even when the owner can’t.
So I built Imperium Development Group to make that possible.
Because businesses that work this hard shouldn’t lose opportunity simply because they were busy doing the work.
My Approach
Most small businesses don’t have a lead problem.
They have a response problem.
When a potential customer calls, there’s a short window where that opportunity is alive. If no one answers, that window closes fast. The customer moves on to the next company.
In large sales organizations, this problem was solved years ago with systems — pipelines, automated responses, and structured follow-up.
Small businesses were never given those tools.
My approach is simple: bring the same lead response systems used in high-performing sales environments to small, owner-operated businesses.
When someone calls, the business responds instantly.
The lead is captured.
The conversation stays alive.
So even when the owner is busy doing the work, the opportunity isn’t lost.
